About me.

My name is Samantha and I am the lucky mom of two little red head boys. I was blessed to have an angel of a mother-in-law who took me in as her own from the minute I started dating her son. My mother-in-law became my best friend, at times I was closer to her than my husband was. Unfortunately, she was taken away from my family much too soon and after she passed, I found myself wanting to call her one more time whether I was looking for advice, venting about day to day stressors, or just checking in. I no longer had the one person I called for everything. I started writing in a journal and soon realized there are so many others who have been in the same position. I created this blog as a safe space, to connect and relate to those people.
